Our team was tasked with designing & producing a kit case that provided both ease of use and premium protection. The client wanted peace of mind when it came to transporting, along with a contrasting colour that would highlight if things were missing.

Design: Creating a Custom Archery Storage Solution

The design team got to work creating an insert that suited the client brief and optimised the space available in the case. They knew they wanted to keep the heavier bulkier items in the base, and the delicate items like the arrows separate in the lid. Utilising previous designs and their collective expertise they created castellations to hold the arrows. This made it convenient when putting them in and out of the foam and avoided damaging the points.

Produce: Precision-Cut Foam Meets Protective Case

Using the CNC router and laser engraving machine, the black & yellow foam insert was near completion... After cutting and shaping, the team checked to ensure a snug and secure fit for the archery equipment.  

Final adjustments were made to guarantee the highest level of protection and usability, ensuring the insert met MSA Foams' standards. Once satisfied, the foam insert was carefully placed into the protective case, ready for delivery to the client.

Deliver: A Striking Yet Practical Archery Case

Our client shared their excitement upon receiving the case: "After receiving my custom foam case, the crew at the Bournemouth Archery Club are always asking me about it. The contrast of black on yellow foam is really striking, it’s a real head-turner!"
