When it comes to product display and promotions, MSA’s tailored solutions, from custom foam to case wrapping, offer premium presentation, promising lasting visual impact. We recently collaborated with R.A.D® to customise Peli cases for the launch of their latest gym training shoe, the ONE V2.  

R.A.D® creates high-performance footwear for gym training, and we've have worked with the brand for the past three years to send the shoes out to investors and athletes, providing high-end presentation, and unparalleled protection.

Design: Customer Creativity meets Precision Printing

For this project, the process began with a design. We provided the case wrap template and once they finalized their design, they sent us the artwork files, giving us a great understanding of their requirements.

From here, we determined the best manufacturing method for their specific artwork and file types. Their artwork consisted of a combination of vectored print files and raster images, requiring a tailored approach to ensure high-quality results.

Produce: High-Quality Printing Methods  

Sacha, our in-house Print Specialist explained the printing method chosen, and why:  

“This was reverse printed directly onto polycarbonate. The benefits are that we can use any artwork that is supplied, and it doesn't have to be vectored. We are also eliminating the reality of the sandwiching of the laminate to the printed media which makes the labels far more durable.”

This reverse printing method not only enhanced durability but also provided greater flexibility in artwork compatibility, ensuring a seamless and professional finish.

As with any project, the MSA design team worked closely with R.A.D® Global team to ensure each expectation was met to the best of their ability. The close collaboration overcame potential issues in consistency, and we were able to offer various solutions to meet the needs of our client.
